Fish Pond Planner

A Fish Pond is a passive income machine. Pick a fish and a target population and see the daily roe output, the caviar potential (Sturgeon only), and how much each pond earns while you sleep. Every coefficient is bound to game version 1.6.x.

Applicable conditions and exceptions

Daily output chance uses the verified formula population × 0.08 + 0.15 (1 fish → 23%, 10 fish → 95%). An empty pond produces nothing. The result is the expected rate; actual output is RNG per day.
Roe sells for 30 + floor(base fish price ÷ 2) and is not boosted by Artisan.
Caviar is fixed at 500g and comes only from a Preserves Jar fed Sturgeon Roe — the highest-value pond output in the game. Artisan adds +40%.
Aged Roe (2 × roe, any non-Sturgeon roe in a Preserves Jar) is the fallback best product; Artisan adds +40%.
Legendary fish (e.g. the Legend, Crimsonfish) can enter a pond from 1.6.9 but stay capped at 1 and can't be duplicated — their population slider is locked to 1.
A pond produces one item type per fish; a Golden Animal Cracker doubles output (once per pond).
Bound to 1.6.x; the 1.7 update may adjust values and will be re-checked before release.
